Denver’s oldest continually operational bar may have changed names a few times over the years, but it’s still a favored haunt. In the late 1940s, the bar (then known as Paul’s Café) was a regular haunt for Neal Cassady and Jack Kerouac. Today, it’s the ideal spot to scarf down a jalapeno cheeseburger, drink a few cold ones, and imagine life during the crazy Beat years.
